Black Sabbath covers band Zakk Sabbath have unveiled details of a new live EP.

The band consisting of guitarist/vocalist Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne), bassist Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie) and drummer Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queens Of The Stone Age, Bl’ast!) will release the limited-edition ‘Live In Detroit EP’ via Southern Lord Recordings on Friday 16th June.

The EP contains three Sabbath classics ‘War Pigs’, ‘Supernaut’ and ‘Fairies Wear Boots’ that were all recorded at the band’s sold-out show at The Fillmore, Detroit in October 2016.

‘Live In Detroit’ will be released as a onetime vinyl pressing in a number of colours. It will also be available to purchase on their month-long tour across North America from May through to June. As of yet there are no UK shows in the pipeline.

To whet fans’ appetites ahead of the release, the band have unleashed a live video for their thundering cover of ‘War Pigs’. Cast your corneas on it here (Warning - some swear words!):

Arguably one of the biggest Black Sabbath fans on the planet and, of course, great friends with his former band mate Ozzy Osbourne, back in 2012 Zakk Wylde named his baby son Sabbath Wylde. His youngest lad Jesse also has Ozzy as his godfather.

The ‘Live In Detroit’ track-listing is as follows:

Side A
1. War Pigs (13.25)

Side B
2. Supernaut (4.57)
3. Fairies Wear Boots (7.33)
